The indicated bare aluminum areas required tight dimensional control, no black anodizing, no contamination, and a clean appearance.
OUJI Approach
OUJI black-anodized the part first, then precision-located it for secondary machining to remove the coating from the specified surfaces.

The prototype met the customer's dimensional and appearance requirements without the uneven edges or marks associated with masking.

Multiple related precision dimensions had to remain stable after black hardcoat anodizing. Repeated setups caused variation, requiring full inspection before finishing, while rework was difficult and scrap risk was high.
OUJI Approach
OUJI used 3+2-axis machining to reduce setups and complete related critical features in one setup. Custom tooling maintained bore consistency, while on-machine checks at fixed intervals controlled process drift.
Result
Stable dimensions after anodizing, lower inspection and production costs, and reduced scrap risk.

Challenge
Achieve a surface hardness of HRC 58–62 with a 0.4–0.6 mm case depth, while maintaining 0.02 mm concentricity and controlling the positional relationship between the external and internal gear features within 0.05 mm.
OUJI Approach
OUJI combined carburizing, gear shaping, and CNC turning. Machining was divided into controlled stages to limit heat-treatment distortion, with finish allowance reserved to recover concentricity and meet the gear requirements.
Result
All hardness, case-depth, concentricity, and gear-feature requirements were achieved to the customer's specification.
