What to send, what affects price, and what happens before production.
What files should I send for a quote?

Send a 3D STEP, STP or X_T file for geometry. Add a PDF or DWG drawing when the part has tolerances, threads, GD&T, finish, material or inspection requirements.

What information helps you quote accurately?

Include material, quantity, finish, critical tolerances, inspection documents and the required delivery date. Mark cosmetic surfaces and special requirements on the drawing.

What determines the price?

Price is mainly driven by material, geometry, setup, machining time, tolerance, quantity, finishing and inspection. A simpler tolerance or larger batch can reduce the unit cost.

Do you provide DFM feedback?

Yes. We review manufacturability, material, tolerances, tool access and finishing risks before production. If a change is needed, we explain it for your approval.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No fixed minimum. We support one-off parts, prototypes, low-volume batches and repeat production.

Which manufacturing routes OUJI can coordinate for a custom part.
Which manufacturing processes do you support?

Our main services are CNC milling, CNC turning, micro machining, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing and surface finishing.

Can one part use several processes?

Yes. A project may combine machining, EDM, grinding, heat treatment, coating, assembly and inspection. We confirm the complete route during technical review.

Can you make complex or multi-axis parts?

Yes, after geometry review. We match the part to 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, turning, Swiss-type or secondary processes based on the critical features.

Do you support both prototypes and production?

Yes. We support first prototypes, pilot batches, low-volume production and repeat orders. The control plan can be adjusted as quantity and risk increase.

Which process is right for my part?

It depends on geometry, material, tolerance, quantity and finish. Send the model and drawing; we will recommend the most practical route.

Materials, tolerances & finishes

The specifications that most often change cost, lead time and final performance.
What materials can you machine?

We work with common aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, titanium, brass, copper, nickel alloys and engineering plastics. Availability is confirmed by grade and stock form.

What tolerances can OUJI achieve?

Typical CNC machining tolerances can reach ±0.01 mm. Critical features down to ±0.005 mm may be possible after reviewing geometry, material, process and inspection method.

What happens if my drawing has no tolerance?

We will clarify the applicable general tolerance before production. Add explicit tolerances only where fit or function requires them to avoid unnecessary cost.

Which surface finishes are available?

Common options include anodizing, hard anodizing, passivation, plating, black oxide, powder coating, brushing, polishing and bead blasting. Compatibility depends on the base material.

Can you suggest an alternative material?

Yes. We can compare machinability, strength, corrosion, temperature, finish and availability. Any substitution requires your approval before production.

Quality & documentation

How requirements are translated into inspection and release records.
How do you control part quality?

Requirements are reviewed before production, followed through manufacturing and checked before release. Inspection depth is matched to the part risk and agreed specification.

How are critical dimensions inspected?

The inspection method is selected by feature and tolerance. Available equipment includes CMM, height gauges, micrometers, calipers and surface roughness testing.

Can you provide inspection reports?

Yes. Dimensional reports, first article records and other agreed inspection documents can be supplied when requested during quotation.

Can you provide material certificates?

Yes, when available and specified before ordering. State the required certificate type, material standard and lot traceability in the RFQ.

How do you keep repeat orders consistent?

We reference the approved drawing revision, material, process notes, finish and inspection requirements. Changes are reviewed before the repeat order is released.

Lead time & delivery

How schedule, changes and shipping are handled.
What lead time should I expect?

Qualified simple parts can start from 3 business days. The confirmed schedule depends on complexity, quantity, material, finish and inspection requirements.

When does lead time begin?

Lead time begins after the drawing, technical requirements, quotation and order details are approved and the required material is available.

Can you support an urgent order?

Sometimes. We first check material, machine capacity, finishing and inspection. If an expedited schedule is practical, it will be stated in the quotation.

Can I change the design after ordering?

Contact us immediately. Changes before production are usually simpler; changes after material cutting or machining may affect cost and delivery.

How are parts shipped?

We select express, air or other suitable freight based on size, weight, destination and urgency. The shipping method and terms are confirmed with the order.
