STEREOLITHOGRAPHY

SLA 3D Printing Services

Produce high-detail resin parts with smooth surfaces and crisp features. SLA is a strong choice for visual prototypes, master patterns and parts that need presentation-ready detail.

DESIGN GUIDE

Protect the Detail Without Making the Part Fragile

SLA resolves small features well, but thin walls, trapped resin and support contact still shape the final result. Use these values as quotation starting points.

Maximum build size
1400 × 700 × 500 mm
Typical tolerance
±0.2 mm
Layer thickness
0.025–0.10 mm
Unsupported wall
From 0.6 mm
Supported wall
From 0.4 mm
Available finishes
As-printed to painted
01

Hollow large resin parts

Use a consistent shell and add drain holes at the lowest points so uncured resin can leave enclosed cavities.

02

Plan support contact areas

Keep critical cosmetic faces away from heavy support contact. Place supports on hidden or easy-to-finish surfaces.

03

Avoid isolated thin features

Add fillets or local reinforcement to tall pins, sharp edges and thin walls that may flex during cleaning and curing.

All SLA projects are quoted with a production lead time starting from 3 days.

SLA MATERIALS

Three Clear Starting Points

Choose resin by appearance, toughness and temperature first. OUJI confirms the final grade and post-cure route after reviewing the application.

SLA UV laser curing liquid resin layer by layer

HOW SLA WORKS

A UV Laser Draws Each Layer in Liquid Resin

SLA uses a UV laser to cure photopolymer resin layer by layer. Printed parts are then cleaned, post-cured and finished to achieve the required appearance.
  1. 01

    Fine details and edges

Small text, thin features and complex surface transitions can be reproduced clearly.

  2. 02

    Smooth visual surfaces

Low layer heights reduce visible stepping and shorten the path to painting or polishing.

  3. 03

    Wide resin selection

Clear, tough, castable and heat-resistant grades support different prototype goals.

  4. 04

    Large presentation models

Large-format builds and bonded sections support housings, models and appearance studies.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
